Antenor Aldape lives and develops his artwork since a few years now, in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. In 1995, he enrolls in art school, place in which he learns shares and enjoys diverse techniques related to the visual arts. 

In these years, he also discovers the circus, his second great passion.

Without even realizing it, he immerses himself in this new world, and finds in it a path in to infinite expression. 

Antenor Aldape is an art communicator, a support in which musical notes, unicycles,manipulated objects and witty puns pass through. He magically turns his creations spectators into new world’s travelers.

He is also member of "Circo DaVinci" and "La Termostática. Compañía Dominguera de Circo”, projects in which he has been involved for 10 uninterrupted years of creation and touring around diverse Latin-American and European stages.Toghether with other local artists, he organizes the "Circo en Escena" (Circus on Stage) festival, event in which they fill up with joy and color the city of Córdoba.

Antenor has their colleagues work in a great value, with whom he shares his activity, and from whom he has learned, and still learns through the years.

Flap!

 

"Flap!" is without a doubt, synonymous of playing. Minutes pass between laughs and wonderful moments taken from a child's imagination, who is reading a story, in which he sees himself swinging an enormous elephant that happily asks for more speed...

 

A mini-bike appears, willing to cross trough a dangerous fire ring, a strange machine arrives in stage to repeat everything the artist says, says, says...

 

It's the circus, the equilibrium. It's the moment to look at things from a new point of view. Now, a unicycle appears and suddenly we are prepared to be amazed. It all

comes to it's climax when three more objects are incorporated to this chaos, objects that will be maneuvered from the heights...
